- of urban artistry are higher than ever.
- From many hip-hop artists and songs topping the Korean music
- charts to various TV programs catered to hip-hop increasing
- in ratings, the standard of Korean hip-hop is on an uprise.
- Rapper and producer Johnnyphlo and Born Star Training Center
- have one goal in mind – making sure that every trainee that goes
- through our Hip-hop curriculum becomes a musician with his/her
- own unique artistry. From starting his career as a rapper to
- maturing to become a producer who has worked with many
- prominent artists in the K-pop scene, Johnnyphlo believes that it
- takes more than just rapping to become a hip-hop artist.
- With this curriculum, he strives to develop all the trainees
- to more than just rappers but to artists. Rather than
- ‘teaching,’ he believes in building connections and chemistry
- from one artist to another through open group discussion
- and exercises and intensive one-on-one interactions.
- By the end of the curriculum, you will not only master the
- techniques of rap but master the art of hip-hop including
- songwriting, recording, performing and more.
